Welcome to Parkour Federation.  The main goal and inspiration behind our organization is Community Creation.  The Community Creation program started many years ago when Texas Parkour, in the second largest state in the US, was trying to find ways to reach all of its practitioners.  Many of the people involved understood the need for organization and began creating communities.  Through trial and error, they have attempted to discover the best formula for starting and maintaining strong, lasting communities. We have comprised our program from this research and input from communities from all over the world.

Here at Parkour Federation, we believe strongly not only in the importance of communities, but also in bringing legitimacy to those communities.  We have banded together from all over the world in order to bring something that will create the kind of cohesion that Parkour needs for legitimacy.  When many of our communities started 6 to 8 years ago, we had only videos and ambition. We did not have the teachers that we do now who can influence a community to start with mind, body and spirit - not just blood, guts and glory. For just a small, one-time fee, our program will help communities understand the importance of safety and proper progression.  Whether you are a small or large community, just starting out, or a community that has been around for a while, our program is designed help you!

 

Here is a quick outline of our program:

  • Whether you are starting a school group, community, business or non-profit, we can help set you up!
  • Don’t know where to start or what to do? We will work with you to help find your needs as a community.  We will also help you find the obstacles and learn how to overcome them.
  • No matter how small or large your community is or will be, we will help you create it and maintain it.
  • We will talk with you via phone, email, chat or in person about taking the right steps, one at a time.
  • You will receive The Community Booklet: We have a whole booklet written to help you with training, marketing, trespassing, volunteer documents, leadership roles, etc.  It's all there!
  • We will send a certified team to your city just to teach you. That’s right, we will travel to you and talk to you in person about the amount of ambition and leadership it takes to start a community.
  • We will throw a Growth and Celebration workshop and Jam for your community.  Your community has the opportunity to start out right!


There are many benefits in becoming a Community through Parkour Federation:

  • You are certified through Parkour Federation, which will let everyone in the world know that you operate in a safe facility, community or group that harnesses the experience and information to start practitioners off in a safe environment with a promise of advancement.
  • We will work with you on how to help get your name out and use our website more efficiently.
  • You will have a dedicated space on our website's forum for your community.
  • The promotion of your communities merchendise.
  • You will join the list of certified communities on our website.  You may reference yourself to others here.
  • You will be added to our Sponsors page.
  • Your trainings will be added to a world map.
  • You may post your news, events and trainings on our website.
  • You qualify for community grants.
